Several times each year our members work together on a major project - often cooperating with other organisations. These projects culminate in an exhibition, of course, and usually have a strong environmental message.

Primrose Paper Arts

Primrose Paper Arts Inc, formerly Primrose Paper Works Co-op, was conceived following the First National Paper Conference in Tasmania in 1987. We started operations in Primrose Park Arts and Crafts Centre in Cremorne in February,1991.

The importance of Primrose Paper Arts in promoting the use of hand made paper can't be underestimated. The continued growth of the group is testament to the dedication of its many members. We now have over fifty members, all with a basic interest in hand made paper but with a variety of backgrounds, talents and expertise.

This diversity of interest was one of the reasons for the change of name to Primrose Paper Arts, but the shared enthusiasm for hand made paper has created an energy and dynamism that is reflected in the range of both 2D and 3D art works produced by the member group.
